Why arn't these links backlinks?

    When i type macro-solutions.co.uk on google i'm getting quite few results which link to the site. However when i type link:http://www.macro-solutions.co.uk/ there are no backlinks whatsoever. Is there something i'm doing wrong here?

    It means that your using this URL macro-solutions.co.uk on your anchor text when building links.

    Not necessarily... many directories and sites post the URL as text next to the anchor text when linking to you.
