WHY are you doing this the hard way?

    Posted on July 25th, 2009

Over the last 2 weeks I have had a handful of conversations that have absolutely blown my mind. I am nothing short of amazed at the hoops people jump through, the money people spend, or the messes people get into trying to make money online.
Newsflash: Internet Marketing is not that complicated!

There is no big secret to making money online. I have yet to figure out why people tend to over-complicate it, or treat it like some myth from a sci-fi movie. Or go at it like a treasure hunt… instead of a business model.

Sure, internet marketing isn't really rocket science. However, I think there is a lot to learn from what some people consider what it means to having an internet business. A GOOD PORTION of the businesses that fail do not understand how to bring traffic to their website, or even understand why it is important.

Newbie here. I'm the type that can always pick up a little something here and there, so it was useful for me. The problem that I've encountered is that there is so much information on the Internet that I'm blown away. I finally decided to follow one type of marketing and to really stick with it. Keep your fingers crossed for me...

For me, it was the reminder to think like the buyer and see things from their perspective. For a veteran Internet marketer, that may be painfully obvious, but but a newbie, I need to remember it's about the buyer and not about me.

That article didn't really have anything that was very useful in it.

for me it trial and error, if you fail thats good in a way so you do not travel that path again. If you gain keep on that path and push harder and find other paths as well to gain. don't fall back as to watch and see game you lose time and effort. Most of all be patient it does not happen overnight.

That is just shameless self promotion. Nothing usefull at all. Might be a ok place to leave a link back to your site though.
