    Vista is God!

3Gb of ram and intel pentium 4.0ghz

    Runs as smooth as smooth!

The graphics look superb and everything is crystal clear.

Only dissapointment is random program crashes from time to time but apart form that no blue screens or anything.

Vista consumes resource very much. My PC now can not run it. It is terrible. Why do not we chose linux. It also have free program which has the same function as areo of vista but consume less pc power. I think we have never use all functions of vista but we have to paid for all of them. Not good

I got a free copy of vista business, so I upgraded my xp to try it out.
Ran it for about 2 weeks and now I'm back to xp :D

Vista was just waaay to slow for my machine. The gig of Ram flies on the XP so I'm staying here until I get a new pc.

Xp rulez, i also have only 512MB Ram, can't run such OS.

Even PC manufacturers are against Vista, which says it all.

Vista should not have been released before a few years.

That's why u got so many bugs and issues with weak hardware. They released it much earlier before finishing the product and probably without the content of PC manufacturers, just to please their shareholders.

A lot of consumers have been taken hostage, 80% don't want Vista according to polls, and in the US, Dell was forced to install XP on several of its new models.

Enjoy Microsoft OS monopoly. They don't care about their clients, they do whatever they want. We pay and have nothing to say.

Have been saying this all along. people say vista sucks is slow etc. But once they get new faster pcs all this will go away and everyone will say vista rocks!

Same happened with almost every other major ms os upgrade.

    So does XP.

No we won't. As i've said time and time again, my pcs are easily fast enough to run Vista. It's not that it runs slowly but that it runs using more resources than it would under XP, for no real benefit.

I have two laptops, a MacBook Pro and an Acer running Vista Ultimate. Overall I prefer the Mac, the screen fonts are way better, things are much easier to install/uninstall, I don't have to worry about security threats etc. The downside is that I need Windows for my dictionaries and education software, and running them in a virtual machine won't work because so many of these programs need direct access to sectors on CD-Roms.

Also, I hate the fact that I had to shell out big bucks to upgrade from Vista Premium to Ultimate so that I could use the English language packs (my Vista laptop was bought in Germany, and so only came supplied with the German MUI), and for this reason I would prefer to use XP which allowed easy swapping of languages.
