Last time I went to the US it seemed people were a bit more friendly than here in the UK, But to be honest I've been to friendlier places in africa.
I agree with this, i am proud to be english. oh, also, did everyone forget tiananmen square and the tibet riots? hardly calm. In looking at recent event - the west showed aggression towards to government of china and its human rights record, never insulting the people, but as of yesterday the chinese made personal atacks on business and culture in the west and in china.....i think this is a more acurate view
Perhaps wester countries are more agressive. They may also be more friendly, more outgoing, more rude or more humourous. The world is a very different place. We can't really explain how we got like this. It's all who we mix with and how we were brought up.
