north americans are european cultures are so aggresive compared to asian cultures. for example if you write a post critical of US, u will get 10 red posts if you write a post critical of India, u wont get any red posts even tho there are more indians here and also in the US if u even look at ppl the wrong way it cud start a fight and it would be a war iif there were 100 ppl on 1 bus whereas in china and india this is regular.. do you think its because of the thought process of personal space and raising in attidue that they are the best"
I live in rural America and thats not true. People look at each other wrong all the time without fights. It's probably becasuse European and American culture have higher nationalistic feelings about ourselves.
I am westerner and from what I have read we westerners are more aggressive than other cultures partially because western culture is fundamentially set up to be very competitive. If you are not a westerner but a westerner is rude to you, they are probably more rude or aggressive to another westerner in the same situation. They also look at time differently, according to what i read, which makes them in a hurry more than other cultures, in general. Of course there are always exceptions to every rule.
Do you live in the West, how often are you around westerners - you shouldn't complain about westerners all being one way, thay would be like me saying, why do all asians badmouth westerners?
Well maibe becouse india sux is more true then USA sux That's the european (latins are living life at the maximum) and americans (brained wash with there power bla bla bla) I don't care about cultures good people are evrywhere bad people are evrywher and many more then good people
Quite true, especially after 9/11 it seemed that USA govt view everyone with suspicions. But overall Americans are still fine. I don't see the stereotype that the OP saw.
The world is populated with good and bad mannered personalities. Wherever you go, take the positive thing you come across and feel happy. Never mourn about some strange incident happened at a corner of the world and never try to judge the people of that area based on that incident.
I have two questions.. 1. Have you ever been to the United States? 2. If so, then what leads you to believe that something like "looking at someone the wrong way would start a fight?" Everyone watches American t.v. So they think they know us all so well Some people have tempers and some people just like to fight. But the good people out number the bad people here in the states if you ask me. Here in the south anyway. I can't say much about Indians. I only meet them occassionally (they mostly own liquor stores/gas stations) but they seem cool. They're a bit shy and they'll look at you like they think you're about to make fun of them or something.
Man, move those ass's into southern europe, drink some cold beers, enjoy the sun and warm weather year round and forget about that. Oh, did i tell you we enjoy barbeques as well?
Its been proven that yes westerners are more aggressive but that doesn't make us bad people. There was a study on Europeans and Asians a long time ago. It showed that where Asains helped each other to finish the tasks given (sometimes even waiting so that others could catch up) Europeans were highly competitive in trying to beat each other. But heres the facts. There was no physical fighting just friendly competition. I think your mixing up competitiveness with aggression. Also coming from Ireland yes looking at someone wrong will get you a thump but then why would you look at someone wrong your just asking for trouble lol
