Why are Websites not Listed in Bing?

I have a couple of websites that are doing well in Google but Bing won't list them:

Help for Suffolk and Essex Alcoholics was submitted last December but is still not listed

Suffolk Grocer's Van was submitted a couple of months ago and is still not listed. It is a one page website.

Both websites have some links to them although these links are probably just social bookmarking, squidoo, small blog, signature links, directory links etc.

Does anyone know what Bing's criteria for listing website is? Does Bing just work on whether you have quality links to websites or does it do a manual check on the quality of websites? Both websites are small websites but are both offering important services to the local community.

Bing gives much priority to on-page factor.

use some fresh and genuine content
    change it once a week
keep good keyword density in your page
keep <h1> and bold in the page.

Ultimately you just need more incoming links.

The more incoming links you can generate, the more potential entry points Bing has (and other search engines) into your website, to firstly find it, and then spider and crawl the pages within it. You can speed this process up by increasing incoming link volume and/or going for incoming link quality – incoming links from pages with high Bing Page Rank.

I have two sites that get a lot of traffic from Yahoo and Bing, but they are not listed with Bing, I have the same situation like you and I do not understand where is the problem.

I've never had a problem with bing, and from the sounds of it there's nothing wrong with your sites. try and email somebody about it

i have 3 splash page sites that rank well on Bing but i have 5 full fledge websites that's been running for over a year that doesn't get tdetected by Bing at all. And Google and yahoo ranks them in the top 5 on many keywords.

bing sucks and will continue to suck until they can determine what's a real website and what's not..

maybe i should make one page sites for all the domains..

It took Bing a couple of weeks to index my site. How long ago did you list your site with Bing?

2 months ago. Bing is useless, i hope they fail so we can all use google. Their numbers will go down when people get smart and learn how to change the default browser on the toolbar

Have you tried submitting your link and than signing up for their Webmaster program?

Bing is useless, don't use it anyways.

Have you tried submitting your sitemap for the site? May be thats the reason why your site is not getting listed on Bing?
