oh...I think it doesn't really matter here who actually did it. Bush had to react quick, Afghanistan = Iraq for US people as well as for me, so not a big difference.

Aside from the fact that they're on entirely different continents?

I'm not talking about geographic location, most in US probably dont know that, would you find a difference between an iraqi and afghanistani person ? I mean they are almost the same, except their location on the map.

    Amen brother.

Howard is such a pushover, we have no reason to be in Iraq... as if our couple thousand of troops couldn't be replaced by US or British troops.

    @ crazy rob.

    read the post.

    @ NFS

according to our government, this war started because of assumed "weapons of mass destruction" and "mass killing".
Not because of 9/11, we had an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT war for that (and we are still in it I believe).

    GMROCKS,

according to your government ? Are you that naive to not have your own opinion? According to Bush, there should be a democracy on the whole planet Earth. Would you personally fight for that in each country? I wouldn't.

I would if Bush was fighting with me together:) j/k....I would wish him good luck and stay alive.

That phrase is a joke. Install power control is more like it. Please man , I'm an american myself and I dont even buy the whole "Help foreign nation achieve free democracy" bs , lets be honest , no politician gives a damn about what happens to the foreign nations peoples. It's called opportunism and imperialism - thats why we're over there , you can play with the wording all you want but the nature of it is still the same.

Because of the mythical "War on Terror."

Because it is good for the corporations controlled by people who do not care a shit for the American people.

But most importantly, because Bush is the decider. And he decides which countrys to ruin, at least until the terrorist leaves office late 2008.

The mission is clear, keep sending American troops to their deaths for as long as it takes to achieve that goal. And that goal is the illegal occupation of a very oil rich country that was invaded based on a pack of lies.
