why are Twitter pages getting such high PR so easily?

    hey man i just gave an example using general word username don't know that the profile would be 9 PR but strange a profile having 0 updates at twitter and not much follower is having 9 PR but strangely the site have more than 1000 back links cool whats the monopoly here ?? :eek:

    How often should I say that page rank is not important at all? This is just an old term to give a website a value for selling them, but never forget that page rank does not mean traffic and every webmaster knows that traffic is the most important thing in making money online.

    My twitter page has a pr3.

    It's linked to on every single page of my blog so that probably has something to do with it.

    A twitter account I set up for a site I'm working on has a pr4. Haven't signed on in ages. That's weird.

    Twitter pages is getting the PR from from the homepage and even it gets so many backlinks from its members.

    Twitter home page have high page rank it’s follow its internal page, It’s update regularly, it have good back link from authority website, user also give back link from there pages. All google guide line follow by the website that’s way google love it.

    lots of the incoming links are do follow as they come from other websites/blogs/profiles etc...but all the outward links are no follow - whch means all the PR goes into the internal pages.

    Did you read what Matt Cutts wrote recently? Nofollow is passing some juice now, just not as much as a full dofollow link.
