Hey guys, Why are "gallery" sites so popular? Ones I've found recently are. http://www.cssloggia.com http://www.cssshowcases.com http://www.advertisementgallery.com The last one on the list is one I created. I've found many of these sites on the web and they have great traffic. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what buzz is all about.

Their Alexa's rank are no0t bad at all. Why are they popular? Because many people are creating everyday blogs, sites, etc. and they look for themes, css, etc.
They have great content which people looking for. And of course they did great in marketing and promoting.
Yeah i'm hoping to get similar traffic with mine. I have yet to figure out how they got all those visits in the first place though.
The 23 visits is inaccurate, check their alexa rank. You're right about feedburner though they could use some more readers. Hey there's room for improvement there definitely. Pretty sure they generate good ad revnue as well.
So what you're saying is advertising is good. That's the weird thing there's no REAL content on these pages. Well i should say the content is the advertising which is a great idea. Check out www.advertisementgallery.com if anyone wants some free advertising. You can put up a 300x250 ad banner for free.
i think because they are creating new and interesting blogs everyday and they are good at advertising as well.
