Do ppl just use Proxy sites when they want to hide their IP's when surfing blogs/sites/forums? any other purposes?
From experience owning a proxy site, it's mostly coming from schools, going to MySpace. Most teens I believe use this service, so it's large, but it's if you can get the word out to them.
proxies to visit forums (used by scammers or those who are banned) by professional webmasters (to see if the DNS is updated) Teenagers (to bypass the school firewalls to visit myspace or arcade sites) but if u own a website ... u want a link at a proxy site cuz of the high traffic.
There are so many becouse many companys restrict webtraffic from work so people must bypass it and proxy is the solution ....
i've sort of been thinking about setting up a proxy especially since discovering this place, what i'm wondering is would it be possible to set one up that would show a UK IP address and would all users have the same IP or could you set it up so everytime someone used it the ip would change.
Proxies used to earn a lot in the past... everyone then caught on and that's why there's so many isnt it?
They pay well .. exstremly well when you get the right setup for a webmaster. And for school and work ..is the main reason .. and a few who send out spam daily. ..lol
because... they get used, they are easy to make for webmasters, and they make money by running adsense on them
Proxys are used for people to access blocked sites at work and home. For webmasters they are easy money and easy traffic
