Newbie question here. I am just starting to look at getting links to my site which has relied on PPC. Yahoo shows a handfull of links but google shows 0.
Does this have to do with the PR of those sites no being good enough or some other such quality factor?

    Responses appreciated:)

    site is www idahoresortrentals com

Google does seem to consistently show only a selection of backlinks. Maybe it's a quality thing and/or not wanting to give any information away that unscrupulous webmaster might use?

Google update their back links status regularly for it is visible only after google run it's famous "back link and pr update". After fininding a backlink yahoo or msn directly shows it but google update it visbile vack link every after 3-4 months. So if you have a new site then you couldn't see your back links until the next G update.

The site is not new but some of the Inlinks are. But that brings up another good question.

Does google (or others) consider the Inlink to be new if the location (path) changes but not the domain where the link is?
    example:

First inlink is here: www site com/first_link_location.htm
Then is moved here: www site com/second_link_location.htm

Does the aging process start over?

    I don't thinks so.

Don't bother with age of your inbound links, they can be removed every day.
Age of inbound links is today important, but the most important thing is to put keyword in anchor text.

Vary your keywords in anchor, that looks more natural and that SE's love .
