Why are the ads not rellevant. YPN pays well however I do not get that many click throughs due to the ad's not being rellevant. Anyone else have the same problem?

Yeah, low CTR but a high payout rate. They don't have that large of an advertise base yet for this network, imo.

Has to do with their inventory. In some segments they just do not have near the inventory of Google.

If you belong to the Co-op program try removing their ads. I have a cell phone site that kept getting nothing but vacuum cleaner ads. I then removed the co-op link and everything is now targeted.

Shoemoney & I spoke a little with Will Johnson (GM of YPN) last week and he did mention that it has imporved and will get better in the first part of 2006.

I still cannot use it on a regional websites but on two of my sites the ads work really good.

I'm playing with the targeting and trying my best to happen upon the right combination for most of my sites, but the ads are not as rellevant as I would like. In fact, though I have most most of my sites over to YPN, there are two that have such amazing rellevancy using A, that I can't fathom moving them to YPN...even at the risk of possibly missing out on YPN's better pay.

I tried this experiment and it worked.. You are able to choose 3 categories for your URL.. I did have only 1 set up and now added 2 more . This doubled my daily income..Try it just make sure you have it setup correctly so that the ad's show where you wantr them such as if you want the same ad's on your entire domain make sure to set it up like this www.mydomain.com/

That is what I do also, and probably most of us. I have 50 mini sites, sub domains, over 12 blogs each with a different subject, etc... just takes a LOT of different targeting etc, and some filtering

I thought the rule for targeting was a max of two categories per website under Ad Targeting. Has this been extended to three?

What is filtering under YPN? Is this Ad Blocking or are you able to remove portions of your website from being scanned by YPN?

How long did it take for the filters and targetting to start working?

I just added some, but am seeing no effect...

Sorry yes you are right my mistake here is this is from YPN Help "You may choose up to two ad categories per Targeted URL, up to a maximum of 50 Targeted URLs."

    so 2 per url..
