I alway though the Digital Point forum was suppose to be mainly internet related,but its getting to a stage that i am seeing threads like 'do you like coke or pepsi while watching movies' and also 'do you like to eat Mangoes' prehaps i am missing something here but whats this all about then and what have these threads got too with the internet and website related interests. These type of threads are on the increase more and more every day,so has DP lost its way or what ??? i have to admit these days i am visiting the site less and less as these sometimes bizarre threads like 'do you like Mangoes' are on the increase. Is it just me or are members see it like me ???
There are many threads like this, I agree with you. Many are probably started by newbees who maybe think they get a do-follow link when we all know we dont. Saying that, this is the General Chat section of the forum so people can ask/chat about what ever they want. But many of the threads are useless!
It depends on the section you are in... if you are looking for technical threads, you probably shouldn't be looking in General Chat.
Shawn,i dont dispute what you are saying and i agree the forum does have many threads related to non internet related topics but you must agree why some people would want to talk about some obscure topics like 'Do you like to eat Mangoes' is slightly bizarre yes they are in the correct section but surely something like that would have been better asked on say a 'Diets forum' or the such like rather than DP that is what i am trying to say.
I agree... I honestly have no clue why people start some of the threads they do. lol I think some people think this place is the only site on the Internet. {shrug} The funny part is those random threads drive crazy traffic... like Google, "hottest girl in the world".
