Hi guys, I have created a proxy site that i have been running for almost a month now and i am getting a good amount of traffic to the site considering its age (average 450uv per day). I was wondering what other proxy owners were getting per click for their ads because at the moment adsense is leaving me with between 5-11 clicks per day and a payout of less that £0.10? Anyway to make the site show higher paying ads?
even i want to ask the same. :| my proxy site gets almost 300 hits per day.. but it hardly generate 0.10$ a day :\
Can i ask, do you make good money from the surveys that you place into your site? I have just been approved for CPALead too but have been holding off placing them onto the site because i want to keep the proxy site fast acting and clean.
Keywords for proxy sites are sort of limited to what you can use, use of unrelated keywords would result in high value ads been placed onto the site but undoing my SEO work i have done at the moment.
The ads are text links and are converting well but the price that i am getting from the sites is next to nothing, i can see 10-15 clicks per day and only get £0.02 for the day.
Because proxy is a trash niche... and of course, Google knows that 99% of people who uses proxy sites are either scammers or cheaters and people who are hiding something...
Whats that got to do with the amount that sites giver per click? Its not Google that pays their advertising.
I would suggest they wouldn't pay very much, i have seen several proxy sites using meta/keyword tricks to display forex ads.. i don't suggest you do this either as you would be risking your adsense account.
Ask wikipedia or..."proxy sites" are sites that used to hide your online identity (IP address etc) to visit another site...
I suspect that Google takes a dim view of proxy sites as they could easily be used for people to visit their own sites and click on their own adsense adverts - not sure but just a thought Dickie
