    Hi Guys,

When I publish a post on my blog, I check it is indexed by searching for a couple of sentences from the post in quotes. My post can then be found indexed within 10 minutes usually.

When somebody copies the post and publishes it on their site and I do a search again using a couple of sentences from the post in qoutes, my post is no longer listed, but the other persons site is.

This also occurs if I ever publish my post on any of the article directories even though I will usually wait at least a week after the post on my site is published and indexed. I always use the same author name on the article directories and my blog.

I was always under the impression that Google would know that my post was the original due to being indexed first.

Below is one of my post URLs. If you copy part of the post and search for it inside quotes, my site is not listed, even in the omitted results. Instead the article directories are listed as well as sites that are using my content.

All of my posts that have no links always appear in the results, it is only when they have links that they disappear.

Any help or advice on getting my posts back into the search results will be greatly appreciated. Any other guidance on potential problems with my site would also be welcome.

    Kind Regards,

    Mike Hill

Unless you're using robots.txt file to block robots they should be indexed whether they have links or not... check plugins you're using or things like that if they're interfering with robots...

also you have to wait some time before your page is permanently indexed!

No problem with the robot.txt file. Just to clarify, posts where people are not linking to me remain indexed, it is only when people are linking to my post do they no longer remain indexed.
