if your a public ally listed company having any thing to do with porn is vary bad for investors. Because if you make your share holders angry ie: Family based share holders find out your are hosting adult content then its not wise. Usually when any large domain based company goes public you all ways see a bunch of adult domains been sold off.
That makes no sense. The reason I started this thread is because google DO allow porn sites to be advertised through adwords.
But what if google did allow porn sites to display adsense? Wouldn't they make more money = more advertisers = more money for publishers?
Google search for porn displays plenty of porn ads, so I doubt they consider porn "evil", unlike the fact they won't accept gun advertisers. So the Google "Do No Evil" Motto has no hold here. I believe porn ads pay very well, and that Google is afraid of a ton of MFAs and/or fraud cases popping up overnight if they allow porn sites to display adsense.
ok... My sitename is with porn like www.sssssporn.com But i not added porn cantend..it is normal content this is not a porn site.. Adsnse allowed adds? any one tested it?
Adwords not accept adult causing no adult advertisement. So, no adult ads will be published in adsense. Therefore, no adult are allow in adsense
Google also does not allow adsense on websites that contain illegal info, gambling and the sale of weapons either.
Google doesn't allow porn because it's a hot button issue - it's the same reason why they don't allow alcohol and gambling sites to show adsense. Also porn webmasters tend to be a bit more sneaky and shady in their practices, so the likelihood of fraud and cheating is higher. They also don't want to deal with porn sites because the very nature of it is so fiercely debated between religious and family organizations so they don't want to get involved in all of that. While google doesn't allow porn sites in adwords or adsense, they do list porn sites in their index - the two are separate.
Slincon - clearly you didn't read my first post. You just said "While google doesn't allow porn sites in adwords or adsense...". The whole point of my post, was then when you make a search for a pornographic or explicting term, the sponsored results (adwords) display pornographic content.
I will post what I want when I want, as long as its releavant to the thread, and answering your question. And what I posted answers your questions, dont get pissed at me because you dont like the truth.
How is saying "Because Google says no" even remotely a positive contribution to the thread? That's like a newbie making a post asking "Why does my div not align in the center", and you saying, "because it doesn't". Just a completely useless comment, clearly used to inflate your post count.
There are certain sites like porn, adult etc. which is not allowed by google in adsense. Adsense has some rules also for porn sites, so they can not display even if you search for that word.
