I typed in the keyword "donate" and got some weird related searches donate car came in first with 1515 searches. I didn't really understand this. What does it mean donate car? I have to admit I was a bit taken aback that donate hair came fourth with 357.0 /day. Very strange. But for me the worst was: donate a testicle 277.0 /day What sort of freak person even fleetingly thinks about "donating a testicle" never mind getting to the typing it in to a SE stage. ------------------------------------------ Anyway this started me thinking. We all know that the internet has a fairly dark side, but i really didn't realise the sheer scale of the freaks in the world. So anyway i typed in sex to the tool 119,825.0 /day Thats a lot...but not particularly surprising i guess as their are a lot of people in the world. I was more worried about the messed up people who contributed to: horse sex 22,318.0 /day and dog sex 19,329.0 /day That is A DAY!! OMG what freaks ---------------------------------------------------------------- This post is really less about the tool itself but about what sort of social world we live in today. I was and am pretty shocked by some of the stuff people are searching for (and i would suggest that maybe that tool is filtering to remove some horrific searches). I don't know what to make of it really. I should be an investigative reporter though. i was only searching for "donate" as I want to create an affiliate site for a charity - how naive i must be. You know those are only approximate numbers, right? Kind of like a subset of internet searches... so horse sex 22,318.0 /day, is probably really like 200,000 per day.. but Overture only sees a small percentage of them. Donate car is not so weird.. it is a very common charity donation in the US-- you donate your old car to a charity, they come pick up and tow it away.. use it for scrap cash or rebuild it, etc. It gets rid of an old car for free. Donate hair, same thing... "Locks of Love" -- google it Now, I have NO clue about the testicle... that is odd. I'm keeping both of mine.

If you can turn on a computer, I sure hope you can identify a male horse from a female horse without having to Google it.
