Why are outbound links not that good for my site?

I was planning on making a links page for my sitehttp://www.surfimages.com website, and I was planning on having a lot of outbound links thinking this would be a good thing, but from reading on this forum it doesn't seem to be the case.

Can you explain?

Yes from what I have seen too many outbound links will not count as big of a vote to the websites they are pointing at.

 

Ok, they will not do much for the sites they are pointing to, but will it help my site?

 

Outbound links are fine, but not if they are part of a link exchange, swap, what have you.

That said, "alot of outbound links" is bad.

And actually I just checked your site, you have a range of issues that can be easily fixed. If you want to hear about it shoot me a pm or bug me on IM and I will run a few things past you. That site is almost killer lol....

make sure that outbound links in your sites are relevant links , otherwise it would affect the credibility of the site..

 

Each and every page on the internet is first about... itself and then about the places where it leads to. Keep a balance between the relevance of your content and the relevance of the sum of your outbound links. That should help.

your outbound link must a relevent links

but a lot of outbound link can hurt your seo
