Why are my H1 or Main Paragraph tags not being read by SEO Analysis?

    I hope you don't mind me asking, but WHY are you using multiple H1 headings on your pages? (Bear in mind I'm a Web developer who uses and advocates the use of best practices, so you might want to consider saying "for SEO purposes" in your answer.)

    It won't hurt your rankings per se (yet), but it definatley can have a negative impact on the usability of the site, which could cause your bounce rate to increase signfiicantly. Especially for those who use screen readers and/or use the keyboard to navigate through a Web site.

    For some reason the OP's html triggered a parsing bug which prevented the heading being picked up. This has been corrected.

    Note that the original test will now return a blank for the heading - this is because only the first h1 is counted, and the first heading on that page only contains title and alt attributes, which the tool does not take into account (by design).
