I had some graphs that showed me how often Google crawled my site. They are no longer visible. Is this a bad sign? My suspicion is that it is. It almost seems as though if you stop continually posting to your site, you get "dropped" so-to-speak. Maybe the answer is to post content on a daily basis. Anyone have the same experience. Can you anyone give me some insight into why this is happening to me?
Already done that. I think I answered my own question last night by posting a new piece of content. My site is setup to update my sitemap file every time I create a new piece of content. Therefore, I think it will be just a matter of keeping things updated. Thanks for the answer anyhow. This forum doesn't seem to be very active in my opinion. Usually on other forums I get a lot more responses. Any ideas why?
My crawl graphs are gone too but I didn't think too much of it. I don't think they remove it as a penalty cause that'd be a bit stupid.
Actually, I think I was wrong about the graphs being gone. I believe they've been moved to a different "tab" on the navigation. At least that's how it appears to me. They used to show up (as I recall) under "Tools" and "Crawl Rate", but now they show up under (opens new window to check) "Crawl Stats" -- weird! Try to look for them there. Maybe I should have closed this post, but it seems others had the same question, good. That's what forums are for. Let me know if you find the graphs.
