I have visited many many English websites. Most of them are using blue as their main color. For instance, VBB, phpbb, phpwind and many free or commerical scripts are blue. Is it better for the color of English people's eyes ( not black) ? Or culture issue?
Blue is soothing color, and its considered as the color of intellectual. not only here, you can see it even in computer operating systems. the famous XP and Linux themes are the variants of blue. even me also kept two of my forums are in Blue ( indianitforum.com and microsoftmania.com )
I design in blue, mostly because, yeah, its soothing. Take the sky for example, would you like it still, if it were red, yellow, or any other color (besides something chosen from a greyscale)?
