From cancer.gov: That doesn't seem like a lot of people, but mesothelioma keywords seem to be at the top of everybody's lists, and sites about it are allegedly making heaps of cash. Can someone tell me what all the fuss is about? Are there a bunch of high-profile lawsuits going on in the USA, or have lots of people been awarded humungous damages after contracting this cancer? In the UK there hasn't been anything on the news or TV about it at all, no ads for compensation lawyers or anything, so I find it surprising that this keyword has such prominence. What did I miss?
Yes, its because of those high-profiled lawsuits against big companies that drives up the competition for the keyword thus giving adsense publishers great payouts.
I Think because it's rare, therefore not much treatment centres and research exists. So the treatment is expensive. Th3r3f0r3, the keywords have good payouts
It must really suck to have a rare disease or condition like this. Hardly anyone will research it, experts are rare, and it costs a lot of money to treat. I was wondering if there had been some kind of epidemic of cases somewhere in the world, but that's possibly not it. Thanks for all your replies.
Actually its not a rare disease. It is very common among those who work with fiberglass or insulations for homes and buildings. Even automechanics can get them from breathing in certain fumes. But it takes years for it to be noticed most times and by that time the person has either died or gotten really sick.
