Why are .info domains so cheap?

    I used estdomains.com. They offered $1 for registering .info domains.
    But the offer is over. Which other sites are still offering such cheap rates?

    I believe Mydomain still have them for 99 cents & Dotster has them for 99 cents with the coupon '99info' if I remember correctly
