Why are Feedback threads closed ?

.. as and when the "mods" feel like it. Or are we to believe the site isnt really interested in feedback?

Couple of Q's:
1. Where's San-DeeP? I only see this Bhaskar character wandering around.
2. Why are most of the members replies a very stereo-typed "Nice post", "Nice link". Moreover they tend to repeat the same post in ALL threads. Bots perhaps? Which is the reason for my previous thread which was unfairly closed. If so I suggest these bots be banned.
3. Where are the technically sound members? Is this a tech site or a "14,000 members hurray" site?
4. Arent most of the books in the e-book section illegal?
5. Reading the previous user banned thread, it seems spacescreamer was banned. Too bad, he looked like one of the only "real" users around

Hoping for some answers, WITHOUT the thread being closed

- Feedback threads are closed when the problem is solved - just to prevent 'thanls' replies and to calm down occasional warm blood I guess.

- Copy-paste: Members: 115,245, Active Members: 40,928

- If you want to know, why someone replied 'thanks', you can allways PM him/her and ask. You can also easily find out if they are bots.

- Sounded technically enough?

- About illegal you can contact admin, about scammers I don't recommend any further action, scammers can be "real" users, yes, I don't know nothing about the mentioned member.

 

Feedback threads are closed for a few reasons;

1. Already been discussed many times.
2. Suggestion or feedback is a bad idea.
3. Thread runs it's course.
4. Question/comment is answered or noted.
5. Feedback or suggestion makes no sense....
6. Other reasons as needed.
