Hi do you ever notice the biggest earners are all those sites that give very little to its viewers. I have four sites and my biggest earning site are those that give very little to viewers or have no real use to the real world. My most useful educational sites are my least earning site.

i've noticed that too. My site that I work hard on with original content and regular updates makes pennies. My other site that I hardly do anything on just keepd generating clicks

Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that the user cant find anything useful on the page, so they look at the advertisements that appear to be able to offer the information the user is after?

If you go to a shopping mall and you find what you're looking for in the first shop, why bother going to the second shop? If you go to a website and find the information you're looking for, why bother going to the next website that offers the same information?

That depends on users traffic and advertisers .I f someone will say that crappy site is getting 100k visitors daily than big brands will advertise their because they want more and more traffic to display their ads . Most of big adsense earners have premium account and permanent advertisers on rotations , that's why they earn so much .

it may have something to do with search. people on the net don't search for useful educational stuff. The search for girls is 100 million per month, search for free is 700 million per month. learn gets about 11 million per month. you can see why crappy sites gets the most traffic. i got it from my adwords google search stats.

I thought about this the other day. I used to value visitors that read a lot of pages on my site. Then I thought, 'How can they be clicking on ads and they're still on the site?'

Like said before most probably has to do with search. People just wanna general info about a subject so, less short concentrated info is what they want.
Of course 80% of those sites traffic it´s new visitors.

i think it all depends on the niche you are tackling. If you're focussing on free stuff but only have a couple of posts but loads of free stuff related adsense adverts then people are likely to click on it. But if you are targetting more informed visitors then they need some good quality content to keep them interested

They say that the most "boring" sites without images get the most number of clicks and coincidentally that happens to be true as well.

when i look for programming codes, the sites that really teaches me and give me the codes are those sites that got very little traffic or has no ads. the sites that go round and round around a small point and never seem to give the code got lots of traffic.

:D I think when there is nothing of any use on the site the visitors tend to go away by closing the site itself or clicking on some relevant ads in hope to find what they are looking for.

I'm building another site now. I think I will try this: less bells and whistles with content only, and a bland design. :D

It's because the site is useless to users so they look for a way to get off it. This really only works if you have a lot of traffic since most people won't be coming back.

i don't think it can be for long term. users will visit again, only and only if they found something useful.

but what if someone want its visitors, to get out of his website. what the most visitors do. :D

    but still for short time.

I guess a lot of you can agree, but I don't think the problem is what they are worth.

I think that maybe not may people are good at getting relevant traffic. If the traffic is not geared for the special site then they do jack and leave straight away. Now if you have some usless site then you don't need to worry about who comes in, just grab as many visitors as you can.

Good unique written sites run about 16X better on my test. You need to just ask yourself this question. If you wanted to know more about that particular education, what should be at the site?

crappy sites make more money because they either have crap content or someimes almost none and it makes the user resort to the google ads making them click on them and going else where for thier knowledge. personaly i hate it when doing research and the search engine provides these useless pages and especially those domain parking pages that make you allmost click several times going around in circles thru useless sites until you find the information you are looking for
