Computers are cheap, especially if you compare it with cars. (Sorry, but I had to say it.. want to be out-of-sense, just like the thread starter)
I wouldn't say they are cheap, but more like reasonably priced. I thought that I would say that as I don't want to computer retailers to come here and start increasing their prices. lol
you can get top of the line tvs for $100? i recently got a dell laptop for around $1000 with too many free upgrades to remember can you play games on a tv? can you play dvds(without a player)? burn dvds(without a recorder)? cnntct to the net? create a webpage? create a game? and finally can a tv make you back your money?
I would answer NO to most of your questions. If I was not into computing today or didn't even know about a computer I would still be working for other people. How I see a computer is if you invest a little into it then you can get something good out of it. The more you invest the more you can get back.
the higher the technology the more expensive of course, little tips from me, better choose the old products with increased performance in it two times from the existing.
Think on the bright side. spend some money on a great rig (PC). And save a lot of waiting time and effort. If your business/work evolves in computer, why don't you invest for it? That's why other people by apple.
Just tell me your address and I will sent you a computer for free just need some cash of freight Just a joke but i want to say the price of a common computer is really cheaper than before.
umh... Did anyone notice that this thread is from 2006? Of course now PC's are way cheaper than then I've seen decent systems at TigerDirect for like 200-300 bucks..
Computers are becoming cheaper and cheaper but if you want to have your computer maxxed then it could cost some money ofcourse.
not really. it depends on the specs of the pc. you can buy cheap pc with low specs. but if your a hardcore gamer then you should buy a durable with high specs pc which is very expensive in some other countries. but not here in the phil
