Why are ads not always shown?

Why don't my ads always appear in Google when I do a search for the exact keyword phrase, even though it is on exact match?

    Thanks,

    Jon

It's not budget because that is plenty high enough. I can search once and it appears. Search again and it doesn't. It appears about 60% of the time. Why is this?

also if your advertising in the UK and your searching from the US then you wont see them, thats the most common mistake

You have your budget set at or above the recommended amount?

My budget is set to $200 per day but I am spending about $90 per day. I am UK based but use a program to be able to search Google and display USA ads.

My concern is that my ads are not getting 100% exposure and if so, why? Just fact finding at this stage. I was thinking that perhaps this is what Google does, maybe something to do with its algo mixing up the results so everybody gets a chance at ad exposure.

then do a search for your keyword on google but put &gl=us at the end of it, it will then show ads in america. if that doesnt work then the keyword your using is inactive, but that will work

You misunderstood. I do see the USA ads because I am using a USA IP address.

This happened to me a while back. In the settings section I changed it from "showing evenly throughout the day" to s"howing right away" up to me pre-set budget limit. Just my 2 cents.
