Same as me man. XD to get indexed, submit your site to any diretory. or at least put your site in your signature here that would do. ^^
Waiting to get listed at yahoo, google... (4-6 weeks) does it mean your site practically doesn't exist for the search engines? Everything you do, make or write in it as if it's not there? Month, or month and a half of your hosting is useless when no one will find you??? Yesterday, I added my sites to about 10 free directories and my sites are still not found by the major search engines. Does it mean that there may be hundreds of thousands or millions of sites that major search engines don't search through, just like my web-sites? I thought while putting a site 'online', contented <meta tags> will automatically be found by the search engines as they search the whole of internet!?
wat happens is google goes back to the site and re-index them on those pages they enocunter your link and then they come to ur website, so the case mite be the place where u have put ur links havent been crawled by google yet, so they are yet to come ur page. I also dont see ur url in ur signature, as forums get index very often, try puttin ur url in ur signature and it mite help u.
Thanks, I'm planning to add my web-sites to the DP signature as it seems to be a way to be SE 'index-ed'. Before I started with my web-sites (2 weeks ago), I thought just by having web-site online (setting up DNS with some hosting firm, having set <meta> tags in web-sites), search engines like yahoo/google will display it in their search results, as much as I was able to comprehend, it's not the case. Needed someone's confirmation on that.
Good idea to place a signature in DP Google automatically crawl the pages and get indexed if not that you can install a google sitemap. But i got indexed with in 24hrs. It is some what luck.
Hey read this it might help. http://randompri.com/2007/03/23/how-to-get-indexed-in-google-fast-without-submitting/ - Prilep
Everybody has been saying the same thing: get links. That's absolutely correct. The other thing though is to get unique content. I've seen sites get listed without having links to their site at all, because the content was unique. The 80th site about traveling to Hawai is going to have much harder time getting listed than the first site about translating from Russian into Sanskrit or some other totally legit, but obscure, niche subject.
Possible reasons why your site isn't getting listed: - You are stuck in SE Sandbox - You have spammy site - Your robots.txt file may be unfriendly
Yesterday I tried putting some of my domains to parking account with domainspa.com to get them index-ed by SEs. I have domains registered with 3 firms. (1 domain I registered with the firm 'A' is displayed in search.yahoo (#1 when I type in the domain's name) and all I have on it is a plane logo, no web-site, so no need to try to get the domain index-ed when it already is) Several domains registered with the firm 'B' (a.k.a. godaddy.com), after I put them under the parked account with domainspa.com, they instantly resulted in search.yahoo. Several domains I registered with the firm 'C', after I put in the parked account with domainspa.com they are still not shown in search.yahoo, i.e. when I type in their name, search.yahoo says - search gave no results, the domain may not be registered yet. ---sharing my experiences.
hi there!!! you have mentioned MSN, most of my keywords are not listed in MSN? how is that to happen? i've been joining groups and yet its still don't work. Can anyone give me advice to get my keywords listed in MSN?
is your content original? having someone elses content on your site? that would get you the results you are having.
