Why Am I Not Ranking For My Keyword

I own the arcade site play4all.net

My mian Keyword is play games

I have around 18000 Backlinks according to I web

The domain name is around 7 mooyj olf d now and i have been woring on the site for a just over a mouth.

I have many back link with pr3 and above with anchor as play games

But im not ranking in google for the top 1000

Can anyone tell me why ( can any find my rank for me so i can monatior it)

Anyone here willing to offer me a paid serice to get this in good ranking for google My seo is pretty good anyway as i got my other site 2nd page for free games in google.

Hey, you should try and get a few more keywords on the homepage, and maybe in the URL's

for example you have newest games on your homepage, why not change that to Play newest games and all the URLS for the games themselvs are /games i would have used /play-games and put the ID at the end of the URL.

Also taking a quick look at your source code, you should make better use of the H1 & H2 tags, ensuring that there are keywords in those.

'play games' is a very, VERY popular search term with around 40,000,000 search results in Google. If I read your post correctly, you said that your domain is around 7 months old. IMHO, it's going to be very hard for you to rank for this term....not impossible though. Keep adding backlinks, keep adding a consistent flow of unique content....

If all else fails, dig DEEP into your wallet and pay for the top Adwords postion!!

 

Yes, Rich is saying right. The main conflict is domain age. In your case it is very shorter age of your domain and you are playing with this kind of very generic keyword. I suggest, you musty go with long tail key phrases to get a good traffic and conversion as well.

yep, few more "play games" KW's on your home page would be a good start.

try to ad <h1>play games</h1> like title of an article and put 2 or 3 "play games" KW's in the article on home page, it might help ur serps as well...

If I were you I would add <h> tags on all my inner pages as well ...

domain age IS a problem if ur targeting top for heavy words tho, but its not impossible, concentrate more on quality link building and not quantity. PR5 and up, related content only.

...write related articles from time to time too and place them below header, there is no text on ur site, only links & pictures.

I will be add MY h1 tages prettys soon.

The site get around 13000uv atm with aroun 500 a day from serp and growing steady.

I have ranked good for big keywrds.

For example with my website kenplay.com its 13mouth old and ranks 11-12th for Free Games.

It hard to get anything above PR5 with arcade sites. as there are so few. ( i now a hand full).

But i have good a decent amount of pr back links and i contiue to work on them each other day.

( am i sandboxed do you think.)

play games is a huge keyword man. All I have to say is did you add the site via google.com/addurl?
