    Hello Everyone! I am stumped about why I am not getting any Search Engine Traffic whatsoever! I have been building backlinks through Yahoo Answers, Video Marketing, and Article Marketing. On many of my sites i Have 100 to 200 Backlinks now and I do not get a single thing for it. I Have been using Long Tail Keywords and getting no traffic. What Am I doing wrong? You can see some of my results here fishing.theinformationexperts.com

    Well, it's hard to say. How are you optimizing for the search engines? What keywords are you focusing on? You can have tons of backlinks but if you're not on the frontpage of search engines, you won't get too much traffic.

    It may take some time. Since you are targeting long tail keywords may be not much people are searching for those. You may try some more competitive keywords.

    Are you targeting certain keywords with certain anchor text that is being searched? Building backlinks bearing your site title as the anchor text will not help much.

    Also, Yahoo Answers don't pass link juice.

    "I have been building backlinks through Yahoo Answers"

    Links from Yahoo answers are not back links.

    They use nofollow tag. If you are using yahoo answers to get backlinks then I guess you are wasting your time. You will only get a little traffic from yahoo answers, nothing else.

    <title>Catch More Fish Today!</title>
    <meta name="description" content="Catch More Fish Today!" />
    <meta name="keywords" content="Catch More Fish Today!" />

    This is not a well written title and tags, you need to do some keyword research and then go looking for a good volume of backlinks using the keywords as the anchor text. I would suggest you start with a directory submission, then look for some exchanges.

    I would consider this as a starting point:

    bass fishing tips 99 174 86,400 0.11 872.73

    Should'nt be too tough to catch some traffic from this niche, but it will take effort and time.

    may be you have done starting SEO very recently so google has not yet indexed all the things as well your back links are not enough to compete with others..

    till you get totally indexed in google try something else for marketing better then time passing

    Have different meta tags for each page. You can write a simple php script that will read your content and make relevant keywords and a description so it can all be automated. :)
