You shouldn't need a credit card at all. Try again.

were there complications from your last paypal transaction with godaddy? Sometimes godaddy will disable a paypals user account in order to avoid being scammed.

If your Paypal account is verified, you should be able to make a purchase on GoDaddy.

Sounds like to much of a hassle. You could always try another
host. I've had no paypal problems with Dynadot:cool:

Your account has to be verified.
    Or you can try namecheap.com

Domain registrars have paypal processing problems occasionally, I've come accross this with most of the registrars that I've been dealing with. Try again later, or try a different registrar.

I think you just made a mistake when you wanted to checkout when purchase the domain.
There is an option for CC or Paypal.
Choose Paypal. Everything else should be no problem.

It used to allow some purchases back in 2005 on my unverified paypal. But then it stopped it. I also got verified within that time. So now it gives no problems at all and it deducts the amount from paypal balance.
