    Hello,

before my PR 5 site vgcity.com received around 10,000 weight... now its down to 4,400.... ive got no idea why...

I read on another thread that a site PR4 with 4650 pages is getting more weight, 11,000 or so....

my PR 6 site with 16,000+ pages too is getting also around 4,000 weight... it used to have 20,000

im really confused, any help is appreciated . Thanks!

Check whether your results are supplemental. Use the keyword tracker to check your page count.

Hmm the keyword tracker is showing 20,000 pages less for vgcity than google! Ok i see where the problem lies, why does this happen?

Basically, if your pages are supplemental then the coop doesnt count them, because google hardly counts them.

So, the api (which the tracker uses) gives you the number of "real pages"

Your pages are being treated as duplicates I guess.

well, the problem really is the site in google, not the coop Id say. Getting internal links to those pages & optimizing the template might help.

Google seems to get a little wierd with forums from time to time. Your weight should come back in a few weeks.

Have you done a software update or something?

Hell thats more fair for forums than any other site. Forums have a ton of pages, those that build sites by hand or even with a cms are at a big disadvantage, coop wise.

Perhaps the API is not showing the correct page counts. I have site w/o any supplemental pages still shows only 1% of indexed pages using API.

Perhaps the same problem to you too. :)

PS: The page count is increasing sligtly every week in API.
