I have a fashion blog that has been getting tons of traffic from google images the last month and a half, now the average payment per click has gone way down....$1.19 for 36 click, that is insane especially because almost all my traffic is coming from relevant google image searches. How can google have a problem with the traffic since it is coming from their search?
sorry to say, but images.google.com traffic is among the worst quality traffic you can get for advertising revenue. so you get the benefit of more traffic but they don't click ads so your CTR goes down the tubes leading to being smart priced. well that's my theory.
I second abercrombie. People going to images.google.com most likely are looking for images instead of looking to buy. That's what I feel.
Yup.. they just want the image... and that terrible frame keeps them from really entering your site too. You might want to setup some kind of 'breakout frame' script on your site so that you can at least capture your visitor at little.
Mmmm, thanks for the responses so far. I was assuming if they are clicking my adsense then they actually made it to the page on my site, I don't think they can see or click adsense from the framed google images page. Is smart pricing all about CTR?
