Have you confirmed your Address already? I mean, have you entered or received the PIN already mailed to you by AdSense? Are you new to AdSense?

Hi guys, thanks a lot, it is a new account. I was being really stupid, I clicked on my account and it said:

"Your account is currently displaying public service ads because you have not verified your account"

    What a douche, thanks anyway.

I think I am cooking now.

Do I have to wait until Google sends me the activation code before it will display relevant ads?

If it is a new website, then that means Google Adsense crawler have not indexed the contents yet.

Yeah, I read somewhere saying that Google Adsense has it own page crawler, and it is different from Google search engine crawler.

Dave, did you know that you can setup your Adsense to display another alternate ad network instead of PSA's if they don't have an applicable ad? It's right in your Adsense setup, on the first page, look where it says Alternate ads or colors and select "Show non-Google ads from another URL". You will have to create an html page that contains the other ads but this will stop PSA's from displaying.

I find this very useful for my forums where Adsense will show PSA's until the Adsense spider checks the thread and finds appropriate ads.

Don't worried about it. When you first use adsense on your site, the public service ads are a general appearance. However, as times pass by, they will appear less and less. As you cannot choose the specific content for your ad, you can't do anything about it. Just let time passed and you won't get them in due time.
