I have a site in HTML, very simple but at homepage are always the public service ads. The other pages have the same content but do not show PSA's, why? Example: First Page: http://www.meninasfamosas.com Second Page: http://www.meninasfamosas.com/2.html First Page without WWW: http://meninasfamosas.com Help Me Please. Regards - (sorry if my English is not perfect!)
First Page without WWW and regular first page with wwww = duplicate content WHY you do this to YOU and Google ?? G serves correct ads on with www and nothing on your dup content because dup content YOUR conscious choice and liability 1. go G webmaster tools and make correct settings for your domain prefs with OR without www as YOUR pref 2. correct your .htaccess 3. how ? search DP forum there are plenty of same questions with solutions for site always WIITH www
But it was with the WWW that the PSA's appeared, without the WWW do not see them ... I've done step 1 and 2, but continue to appear ...
Not in my home language but as ever this is almost certainly down to keyword density, up that and then wait a few hours, this always resolves the PSA situation for me. Dickie
How so? How can I resolve the situation? On the second page of the site, the keywords are the same and the PSA does not appear...
after all steps done it may take up to a few weeks or more until G reacts - depending on how frequently you had your pages changed or new content added in your past, results in how frequently G RE-visits each page or a particular page. in addition LOTS of care missing on your site no style, no margins, no colors of any kind, no links to anywhere, no structure, no sign that is is a REAL website goinng to be the site as is looks like an experimental test site for beginners meta description missing some page H1 missing forget about adsense for the next few weeks and months and focus on creating content and presenting it in a clean way to make your pages attractive to generic visitors ....
The site is currently testing ... But I had a blog with many texts, but began to show the PSA and thought it had something to do with the texts and pulled out the blog to test ... Put this HTML page just to test... and how they see the first page ads still do not appear...
I can confirm that I have the same issue on 2 sites. Which had Adsense displaying fine on all pages and suddenly stopped on certain pages only. On both sites the index page is showing PSAs only while inner or subpages show regular Adsense ads. This is really really weird.
There are lot of reasons to show PSAs in the pages. Some Tips to Avoid Public Service Ads. * Develop sufficient good content with keywords on your webpage related to the topic of interest. Google is a great fan of good content websites. * Ensure that META tags like ‘title’ & ‘description’ and the headings tags like h1, h2 etc. have content which matches the rest of your site. They are main ways google judges your pages content. * Add specific keywords in your text which will help the google bot to determine and understand the content of your website. Repeat related keywords which will better help to understand site content. Do not fill your page with simlar keywords, it might work against your favour. * Try to keep the entire website focussed on a particular theme, so that even if the content on a particular page is lesser, the ads wil show. * Do not place multiple ad units if there are not suffcient ads to display on all of them. Also Google TOS do not allow placing more than 3 ad units on a page. * Use section targeting – you can target an ad unit to a specific section of your blog, as well as block out irrelevant sections like navigational links. Useful to get more targeted ads.
@pearlgurl Everything in your posting might be a good explanation. However it does not help to solve the problem. At least in my case it does not offer an explanation: My homepage can be called numerous ways: www.xyz.com, www.xyz.com/index.html and www1.xyz.com. Each call results in the identical paged being displayed. However only www.xyz.com and www.xyz.com/index.html are showing PSAs. Calling www1.xyz.com shows the same page only this time with Adsense ads. So it seems that the problem has nothing to do with content. Also even subpages with less content (one only displaying a contact form) do show Adsense ads as it should be. So still I cannot explain why Adsense is behaving that way. I am really thinking about putting a permanent redirect to www1.xyz.com for the next couple of weeks put it back to normal then and check if it has resolved.
No offence but if that is the case write to Google and don't post here. None of us can change Googles mind with regards to your adsense ads. You are simply wasting your time posting here. It's clearly a Google issue, nothing to do with DP forum.
Writing to Google is always an option. However in most cases advice from other webmasters is more valuable than waiting for a response from Google or getting their standard replies. Anyway at least for one of my sites it seemed that the issue has been resolved. I am having Adsense ads back up again. Reason? I have no idea. Didn´t use section targeting but added massive keyword richt content. Still weird. The other site however still the same PSA ads.
