Why am I getting non-targeted likes for my Facebook ad?

    Hi all,

    I'm running Facebook ads and my goal is to target South Indian people who are in US. So I targeted the specific region in US and have given the Indian based interest level. But the result I received (likes) was from Americans. When I checked about this with Facebook group members, they replied saying that when I use location targeting and interest targeting, I'm actually advertising to people in that region OR people with an Indian based interest level. .

    Could anyone please advise me what is the best way to reach my target audience? what are the best ways to target using FB ads.
