Why am I getting no clicks and no impressions if its active?

Ok I admit Im a NEWB to adwords, just began my campaign yesterday, but can someone please tell me why none of my ads are showing yet? Its says that my account is active. Do you have to wait A few days or something? Please help!

 

if you are using the content network it can take up to a day and a half for it to start getting impressions and clicks, search network is usually right away

 

Has to be approved too.

 

how long does it take to be approved and how do you see your status on that?

 

When you start to see impressions, then you know you're approved. I don't think there's any other way of knowing. Approval is usually much quicker once you've had your account for a while.

 

Oh dear me too ,I have to bid higher but the impression still low

 

Just wait it will show, it takes longer for super long tailed keywords though

 

How old is your account?

 

I would ask what your keywords are. Do you have a few or several hundred or thousand? The issue might be several things in conjunction here. New account low yielding keywords.

 

New accounts take longer to activate keywords. Give it some time and some good keywords and it will pay off. Good luck.
