I think PR update has started and Page rank of Alive directory has been downgraded to 4

    I checked this Datacenter

which is Google's Headquarters Mountain view server

    72.14.223.81

check this you may very well know about it

    and also

I had fake page rank domain www.innermobiles.com that is showing PR0 on the

    this datacenter

and all other data centers are showing PR6 (fake page rank)

Also check sites which are above PR6 and report it here

I also want to ask why Alive's page rank has been downgraded

The pr 4 that you are seeing is the old pr. Google has still not fully updated all of its data centers. Correction, some datacenters are still using the old algo and have not caught up yet. Alive's pr is not fake, it is just that as far as google is concerned is not a full pr 7 yet.

This has been going on now for about 4 or 5 months, page rank has been jumping up and down. Hopefully on the next update everything will be sorted out. It is a little scary because the next update could be a heartbreaker for many sites expecting high page ranks, including myself, we'll just have to wait and see how all this plays out. In the meantime the best thing to do is keep building solid links to point back to your site.

no offence, what does it matter anyway? After all the your page rank is fake, so on the next update it may well be a 0.

If this post is correct which I am sure it is, does that not indicate that the thread is now answered completely:cool:
