Developments and growth in China as well as increased foreign aid could be attributed to as factors of aiding the growth of Alibaba. Alibaba already works with many people and countries from different countries and so it wouldn't be difficult for them to become international. In fact, I expect their stock to soar in the next upcoming years by looking at their growth and potential. Alibaba should be seriously considered as an investment option for people going into investing.
Alibaba and such websites are bad for China's economy.. it turns China into a place which only sells stuff and do not buy stuff from the Western countries. Alibaba was established long time ago and that's why it became such a big market.
I think it's GREAT for China's economy. People from the Western countries are buying from Alibaba. For instance, Chinese immigrants in Western countries who own businesses are buying from Alibaba to furnish their stores, whether it be food or equipment needed to provide a service. Trust me China's not complaining lol
I would like to see other countries get involved, and I think they will. It will be a global marketplace within the next few years.
I agree with Mgarcon, it makes China's economic development, they can be consumed what they produce But Alibaba grow so fast. I want to learn about core values, or a tool, special factors that help them to grow in recent years and has influenced Amazon

China really exported much products in these decades，this is true. and do you know China are importing much items from many countries. you refered to the Alibaba. they are setting a professional website which help Chinese people buy items from western union,now,many countries like France,Korean,USA,Neltherland companies sell products directly to Chinese people. i guess in the next some years. Chinese people will buy much items from all over the world. if you can provide competitive items, i suggest that you should seize this oppournity.then you will become millionaires in two years.
Alibaba is huge, the world’s 18th-biggest company by valuation. I recently blogged about them and was surprised to learn that profits are bigger than Amazon and eBay combined.
The western counties cannot beat the Chinese manufacture rates! Western countries aren't capable of making the manufacture rates so low and that's why the west isn't selling products to China and why every company now manufactures in China.
How did they evolve so fast? Simple they opened up the wholesale Chinese market for westerners. It has been a known fact that importing goods from China and selling them at profit can be a good racket. The language gap and the lack of insurance that your product will actually arrive kept small importers away from China. Alibaba bridged that gap and became one of the biggest eCommerce websites in the world. Now they're gunning for eBay with Aliexpress.
