Why adtoll earnings report differs from earnings on My Sites?

    Hello,

I've just noticed today that in Adtoll.com , when I see the "My Sites" report, I can see a different amount of clicks, then in "Earnings Report" for the same site, when choosing "Today" as the time.

For example, in My Sites I can see:
    Txt 1,700 27 1.59% 31 1 of 10 $0.03

and in the earnings report for today I see:
    Saturday 03-Nov-2007 $0.0174 26 $0.4532

    (1 click is missing).

On other site I have there are 5 clicks missing.
Anyone have an explenation for this please?

    Thank you.

Its because your sites section shows all clicks (including those on default ads). Default ad clicks are not paid clicks but we use them to help determine your site statistics for your rate card. This is a good thing as it allows us to show a far more realistic figure on your rate card.

The earnings report shows the clicks that are paid.

If you have issues like this e-mail your account manager they can have a look at your site stats and explain it to you.

I still recommend doing this... so email your account manager.

icetsh, also, only RON clicks (clicks which are paid at CPC) are shown in the Run Of Network Ad Earnings summary. Sponsored Ad clicks are not shown there because they are not paid CPC, as has been said, Default Ads are also not paid at CPC.

In summary only RON clicks are shown in that report. Sponsored Ad clicks and Default Ad clicks are not RON ads.

    Hope that helps.

Check out the Publisher FAQ or even the Advertiser FAQ for more information.

Thank you for the reply. I've now understood why this happened :)

And about emailing my account manager, I've tried that, but when I submited the contact page, it just kept getting back to the same page with the contact form, so I wasn't sure it was even submited at all.

If the contact form executed properly it will take you back to your account page, with a message at the top of the page.

It sounds like you may have entered the turing number incorrectly?
