Right google itself is a gaint and don't want to use any third party service and perticularly a sort of competetior .

Any way a new way of paying rather than using slow and time consuming postal delivary makes the life of web masters more comfortable.
Let us wait for bright feture.

Great traffic to google comes form asia, where paypal don't exist or have limitations. Google is not discriminative and has opened it's door for every human on earth despite what region or religion he belogs. That's why google dont care about paypal.

Nah, I can't imagine them allowing Paypal as an option - Ebay are like a competitor in the big internet war :)

direct deposit is best but if they start paying in to google checkout which would be the natural progression then you end up with a central fund for your google in funds (adsense) and your google out runds (your bank, shopping online and more importantly adwords)

I think the reason they dont allow paypal is because on their TOS they say that to join google adsense you must be 18 years or older. and paypal everyone can join and pay online

as well google as got their own checkout system, so why would they promote paypal?

well thats what I think :)

Yup, Google doesn't want to 'pay' eBay, since they don't own it. But perhaps they will buy it one day .. you never know with google ;).

It would more convenient for many people if there was an online payment option but it would not be via paypal.

why would they use paypal? when they can create their own payment processor and keep all the fees?
