    Hi there,
I made an AdSense account and it is taking too much time to activate. When I searched the reason on internet I didn't got much of information for the actual reason behind it.
If someone knows why Google takes random time for random sites kindly share.
    :)

Define too much time first please.
Generally, they have the rights to review your application as long as they want but mostly it happens within a week from the time you submitted it.

Well, its been 10 days for me so far. When ever i login it says your application is in review and we will email you.
Usually they say it takes 1 week. I searched on internet people waiting for more than a month. That is why I am a little concerned... Does it require some traffic running on your website to be able to get AdSense activated more quickly?

Do you already have contents running on your website? Or is it a totally new account application? If it's a totally new application without any content on your website, it seems like it might get rejected.

Tell us more about how you apply for it. :)

    Cheers,
    Lester

Yes I have 14 or 15 pages, including Policy page, terms and conditions page, contact us, site map. Does anyone know if Google require that your site needs to be getting a considerable amount of hits per day to be able to accepted for adsense? :)

Depending upon applications they receive, they approve it according to them. So, wait until you get approved.

Seems like your situation is pretty safe to get approved by Google since you have all those things set up already. If your articles are around at least 250 words and above, then can say almost 100% you can get approved.

There is no need to get a specific number of hits before you can get approved so no worries.

    Cheers

kind of bad news here but its a learning process I guess. After 10 days or so it says this:::

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google
    AdSense at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

    Issues:

    - Under construction

    ---------------------

    Further detail:

Under construction: We've found that your site's pages are incomplete
or under construction. We require websites to be launched and navigable
before being considered for AdSense. Your site must also contain enough
content for our specialists to review, and to display relevant ads.
Once the majority of your site is complete and functional, we'll be
    happy to reconsider your application.

    ---------------------

    :::
I noticed the website had few pages with no text in it. Like some 3 or 4 pages. So I have to re submit again after completing the pages....
Hope it gets approved a little faster this time.
