Outsourcing article writing is one of the biggest steps an Internet marketer can take in advancing their business to the next level. Article marketing is one of the most solid and proven of all marketing techniques, and one which you can rely on in an industry of constant change and constant evolution. Article marketing produces slow, but steady and solid, results, and many marketers have based the majority of their operation around it. Good writers who become marketers will usually start out by using their own writing skills to promote products this way, and then find that they are running out of time.

Everyone knows that the big money is to be made by taking what has been successful and scaling it up. The problem which arises in article marketing is that there are simply not enough hours in the day to keep producing enough content to satisfy all of the profitable markets you could enter. This is when outsourcing becomes essential if your business is to progress to the next level. The thought of outsourcing work can cause some apprehension. People are justifiably worried that they will lose money through the outsource worker's work not being of sufficient quality, or even that they will simply take the money and run.

Although there are no guaranteed ways of making sure that you will never be left out of pocket, there are some ways of reducing the risk so that it is almost negligible. It helps if you are looking upon your outsourcing as a long term venture. On the freelancing websites, there is feedback left by people who have used a certain worker before. Take note of this, and you will be increasing your chances of a deal working out. Give the worker a very small job to start with, and check their work for quality and suitability. Once you are happy with someone's work, look to keep using them. By following this system, you can cut down dramatically the amount of money you waste when outsourcing article writing.

    Great Post!

If at first you cannot spend money on an article writer, write your own until you start to see some income. You will quickly realize that these articles are valuable and you should reinvest that money into a writer!

Once you find an article writer that can write well about your Niche and do it at an economical price that writer becomes a VERY valuable piece of any internet marketing puzzle.

Ya, to avoid risking your hard earned money, I would try writing your own articles at first. You need to be able to pick out good articles from bad articles. Once you know what makes a good articles, and how to get traffic from it, you should be confident in your ability to turn a profit on any outsourced articles.

Article writing is a skill but there's no reason why people, even without detailed knowledge of a subject can't write an article on it. Do some decent research on the internet of your selected topic, collate the information together and rewrite in your own words - making sure to include your keyword terms. Like BruceDoh said start by writing your own and then invest in a professional.

I'd probably use a professional more for to save time and use their knowledge of the the best methods of posting to articles directories.

    Good Point~!

my suggestion is for a newbie to try out article marketing in ezine articles :) as you continue to learn you are going to know what works and what does not.

Then move in to outsourcing :)

I agree with your thesis. Outsourcing frees up site publishers so they can focus on traffic generation and monetizing their sites.

I agree article writers are great :) but I think writing is good for the blogger to hone their skills and learn what articles do and don't work. Buy 2 articles (relatively cheap) and write 2 yourself and then see the difference.

Very informative article, although I think the title should have read more like "Why OVERwhelmed Internet Marketers Should Outsource Article Writing". Newbies are the ones who should most definitely try their hand and build their skills with article writing. This can take them a long way and generate them some seed money from which to build upon -- all at Zero Cost! Once they begin to advance and just have no time to handle the article writing workload -- then at this point perhaps they might want to consider outsourcing.

it's also important for newbies to do their own work first so they know what to look for - they know what is quality and they know the correct going rates. Otherwise, they can easily be taken advantage of!

I couldn't agree more. This is A+ advice.

I can see you having to outsource once you've more than 2 or 3 blogs which you need to update daily, unless you don't already have a full time job.

I think it's not for newbies, a newbie will spend most of his time reading in weblogs and forums, trying new things, making mistakes and working hard before he can see income from his sites. After he begins to make some income he can think about outsourcing the content, paying a writer.

Good post... Outsourcing could be very useful.

First of all it will save you a lot of time and secondly you can sell the work for a higher price... and what would have you done? ... Nothing
