Why is adsense the best?
Since being banned I am using click-share but only adsense seems to bring the big bucks

 

Adsense may not be the best, but it's the most common one...
And that makes it the best!

 

Its popularity could be the reason for your claim.

 

I trust Google, that's what makes it the best ^^;;

 

Because it gives more ROI for advertisers, hence more advertisers, hence the best bet for publishers.

This brings up an interesting question. Do more publishers use Adsense because of the large number of advertisers? Or do advertisers use Adsense because of the large number of publishers?

 

Both, it's a loving, giving community xP

I make far more with YPN, but adsense is more stable. They don't ban you for international clicks for example

 

OR is it because of the name GOOGLE which is household name and one of the worlds biggest companies?

 

Because there's nothing any better than Google to choose from. It's far from perfect but everything else is worse.

 

More advertisers, more competition, higher bids, higher Google earnings, higher share for publishers.

 

google adsense is worldwide so it is able to draw advertiser from a much larger pool, so you will get more $$ where you have lots of clients bidding against each other.

 

You can make great cash from Azoogle, Textlinkads or Adbrite aswell

 

I run ypn on one of my sites. the payout is much better, but they don't always generate the most relevant ads. i converted a myspace type site from using adsense to ypn instead and it was bringing in far more conversion from clicks.

 

Exactly, YPN is terrible. Even though the payout is ok, your CTR will be lower since the ads are not very targeted.

 

They're only not very targetted becaue it's in BETA, so not many advertisers are using the service.
