wht a forum business ( running and then selling when u will have a lot of good threads like dp) is it a business or is it profitable if yes then can u give some info about it
everything is profitable as long as you put the right effort, time, and give right resources to run it.
If you get a popular business forum, you can easily sell links and sponsor spots from business owner memebers It's a good niche for a forum..
i own www.Entrepreneurforum.co.uk and its comming along for 6 months of opening, youngentrepreneur.com seems to be the most popular business forum and also the worst as theres loads of spam and nobody cares enough to get rid of it. My forum has made a loss i would have to say, due to the VB licence and hosting and domain(s ) and i havn't made much through bidvertiser (hasn't been up too long and nobody clicks) If i was as successful as youngentrepreneur i would def make alot of money as i would no how to run the site most efficently, the creators of youngentreprneur don't even go on the forum much, last time one of the owners went on there was 7 April! I check my forum like 5-7 times aday lol
i started a forum when it had 75000 posts i sold it for 500 dollars and restored that database on other domain and when it had 154000 posts sold it for $1450 now i am ready to sel my databse third time with 500000 posts
