    Homer is easily the funniest. There might be other cameos from mr. burns, police chief Wiggum, Bart, Apu, but Homer is consistently funny. I guess some of the funny aspects of Homer is due to his lack of intelligence. he carries the "fool" role perfectly.

    never in the history of televesion, cinema, has there been a more consistently funny program.

    Yep, theat guy is also extremely funny. Then again, its much easier to be so for brief moments. I loved the bit when he says to Bart " Did you alo graduate from Hollywood medical school". This of course coming from a non-qualified and bungling doctor that Dr. Nick is.

    I think the the first 7 or 8 series were easily better. If anything, they seem to be manufacturing some of the jokes in recent episodes rather than flowing naturally as seemd to be the case with earlier episodes.
