Who's your favorite financial expert.

    My favorite expert is Dave Ramsey. Basically he teaches being dept free. No borrowing, with exception for a home. Building wealth through mutual funds.

    He teaches a seven step system which is highly motivating.

    Just so you will know, this is not an attempt to push a person or product.

    Most people go through life thinking that dept is a part of life. I wish I had learned how to manage my money like this when I was younger. I created this thread to get people to think outside the bun so to speak.

    I was in an ARM loan, I switched to a 20 year fixed. Glad i did.

    The Total Money Makeover is a book by Dave Ramsey. It will teach you how NOT to live pay check to pay check.
    I sorry this sounds like a commercial, but finances are a major part of life. There is no such thing as good dept, think about it.

    Ask him if he knows of dave ramsey.I should have titled this thread. "Are you sick of Dept"
    I was normal,in dept and living pay check to pay check.I heard dave on the radio and thought, this is pretty cool. He's not some get rich gurue, he just tells you how to go from in dept to no dept and paying cash for cars and other stuff, but also to invest long term in mutual funds.
    I'm one month away from being dept free. It takes a load off your back.

    It sounds like you're pushing him and trying to plug his name whenever you can... Your writting patterns reminds me of these dodgy testimonials you find on dodgy websites...

    I 'm sorry I sound this way, I'm just an excited fan.

    The radio and tv show are free. Listening cost nothing. If you like what you hear, the book is only ten dollars.

    This is not an advertisement. How you look at money is important in everyones life.Your safety to your marriage is effected by your financial decissions.
