Who's your favorite domain registrar?

We all have our share of TLDs, but not all registrars can be trusted

For example, 3 years ago my Godaddy account was banned for fraud, because a friend bought domains on his and my account with the same paypal account(back than i didn't have paypal), since than i hate them.

For more than 2 years i'm at namecheap and i NEVER had any problems, in 2 years i registered more than 100 domains and never encountered any issues.

The conclusion being that namecheap.com gets my vote especially now that they are accredited

Web.CC I guess. They are the only registrar that I know whom you can talk to a live human being if there is problems that need to be solved. Extremely reliable registrar highly automated but still maintaining the human touch.

Namecheap for me too. Easy to use their website and are pretty cheap.

I have Never had any problem with Godaddy...ever! And they are the model for customer service, like, talking to a human...on the phone. However! I recently had an avalanche of domain ideas and found out that 1and1 sells .com's for 7 bucks AND that INCLUDES private registration...WOW! So I spent $55 instead of more like $140 from Godaddy. Now, is 1and1 the best? Time will tell. But until proven otherwise, they have my vote for now.

But if you are only concerned with Stability, Reliability, Reputation, customer sevice etc., you will NEVER go wrong with Godaddy.

    Gary.

I love Name.com as they are cheap and provide better service.

Godaddy is dam slow and is full of promotions nothing else. When i buy domain from Godaddy they offer me several stuffs to buy which i dont like.

Name.com is fast just enter domain name pay and all done.

I really like name.com. I only have an unverified paypal so this site is really good for me. The .coms are also extremely affordable, and I haven't had a problem with them yet :)

I vote for name.com. I register domains every day and haven't got an issue with them at all.
