man I wish I had started earlier... 18 right now and just starting to mess around with this stuff I made about 4k selling online game items and stuff through ebay (D2, WOW, etc) but it wasn't really stable, so I decided to look for something else.. tried my hand at stocks but after 6 months I hadn't gained or lost anything, so I finally moved to webmastering and here I am today =)
I finally got it. Yatta Here's the picture: Since it's been a while since I posted I have made some more money and now have over $40.00. Thanks for showing me how to do this. Thanks, Kyle P.S. Sorry if it looks really bad. I've never done this before.
Offline advertising of website is the worst than any other online advertising.people will not visit your site if they are not in front of their PC the time they saw your ad. In magazine for instance, instead of visiting your site which is being advertised on that magazine he is reading, he would rather continue reading and forget about going to his PC to open to visit your site...
No Way!!! What about a prime time television advert, or a spread in a daily newspaper, if the advert sticks in peoples minds then they'll use the service. You may not realise but in the job sections in newspapers nearly all the companies advertise their websites.
If your advert is good enough then it will remind them to visit your site! Equally if they want the product enough they will visit your site. Offline marketing can be as if not more effective than online marketing for certain products, and vice versa of course.
A good website is able to be linked to somewhere in the real world. For example a proxy could be spread around a school from word of mouth rather fast. Give it to their school newpaper or something like that and it will soar through the school (in some cases). Thats just a simple example on how offline advertising can get people to visit your website. News papers, posters, anything can spark a few people to visit your website. Just know your nitch, and figure it out. I'm 17 and used to make about $100 a month online, however all of it went into screwing around more on the internet. I'm about to settle down in my first buisness idea for online. Hopefully it will do well.
The picture didn't show up for some reason. So I'll post the link instead http://http//cashesonline.com/proof.jpg Sorry, Kyle
Hey Vic that offshore company formation thing is really interesting. Is all that stuff on the site true?
Rah, Can't believe how long this thread has been going for! I read through the entire thing, definitely some impressive stuff! Anyway, if any drop dead amazing designers or php'ers are looking to do something that truly matters, check my sig ;] Oh and by the way, Vic_mackey, never keep more than £1000 in your Paypal at once, Paypal act as a bank when it suits them, but don't conform to the strict regulations of banks, I always bank when I get to £1000.
I'm 15, making around mid $x,xxx monthly. I recently sold my biggest site for a high 5 figure sum. I can't say the amount due to the NDA i signed.
