Been venturing with online entities since last year. I'm about to turn 18 next week, so that's when this all becomes a BIG reality. I have been earning $2,000-$4,000 for the past year & it has only been increasing.
I agree with Ade 100%, I am very young (Still only 16 and a sophomore in HIgh School) and I am making $1,000+ a month online, and I LOVE IT. Everyone else has a job at fast food resturants, while I still and home and work whenever I want. The best part of all, it doesnt even take long... and if I wanted to, I could proably work a normal 8 hour job too.
Interesting reading guys and very encouraging about the possiblilities. On the other hand...... I'm feeling pretty old right now. Of course it's better than the alternative. JB
im 19 started working on the net at 13-14 straight after i left school with no written qualifications and made more than i would if i had a "real" job exchange rate sucks now use to be $100 US = $200 new zealand was great!
lets see some screenshots, or atleast list the sites that made you this b/c frankly i dont believe that you are making between 60k and 240k a year
I couldn't agree with you more. I'm just sitting at my computer desk, typing and making a few clicks, while my friends are sweating, cooking burgers at McDonalds and Hungry Jacks, and they aren't even close to earning half of what I'm making, and I'm just sitting down, taking it easy.. I'm glad my mum introduced me to the Internet 3 or so years ago She's always logging into my PayPal account looking to withdraw some funds into her bank account! But there are definitely some kids out there with talent, I know a couple of kids who are earning $400+ daily on adsense alone. Man, that's like 2 or 3 times what my mum earns and she works for an insurance company for doctors. The point is, adults are supposed to be making more than kids. She said she'd retire if I ever managed to earn that much daily, LOL..
I'm 19 and I just started blogging a couple of weeks ago, and I'm looking to make $1000 in my first two months. I'm in college, so doing this is way better than some repetitive, minimum wage part-time job!
lets see these sights that people are makign over a 1000 a month on. Not a single on has been posted. I smell something... and its not roses
im impressed... but yer relying on the internet only is a bad choice in my opinion. Have a backup job
Here is a SS of my earnings for last month... I also have a paycheck for adsense on my website www.boardingscene.com, but it is only like $75 or so a month. View attachment 2873
Yeah... I just turned 16 the 7th, and I am about 4 weeks away from graduating my sophomore year. I cant wait to get outta here lol.
I am 21 and an entrepreneur. Adsense is great, it is a nice little earner on the side. However, over half a grand goes through my paypal account everyweek, this certainly isnt through adsense. My advice is to use your web skills to get into the real world of business, negotiating, selling and buying. For example www.nottinghamstudent.co.uk started out as a small information site for students in Nottingham. Much like many other "small information site". However, I now sell tickets through the site for the biggest student night in Nottingham (Isis: £1.50 double red bull - yay!). I know most of the bar/club owners/mangers in nottingham and am building contacts all the time. I've got exams over the next few weeks but after that I will be hosting my own student night at one of the nightclubs in town,. Hopefully I can go from making a few hundred a week to £xxxx a week. btw: If anyone on this board has/knows of a product that they think could be targetted at students PM me straight away. I have hundreds of email addresses of students and could sell whatever product through my site. Building the contacts!! Notting
Nice! I wasn't doubting you, but I'm sick of kids spitting off numbers on the internet claiming they are millionaires from adsense. What site are most of your earnings from? Or is it several sites?
Well, I am trying to start a small business called Nanofied Productions. It consists of mainly me and a close friend doing any type of production work people need. I started when I was like 15 and I am starting to get to the point where people are finding me or my site www.nanofied.com, and they request work theirselves. I dont really have to look for clients any more. I make about $600-$1200 a month mainly from designing websites and graphics for people. However I have done video productions flash and more. I am trying to get a big website going with www.boardingscene.com, but being only 2 months old, it is sort of tough. It was based of a vblulletin script, then I pretty much modified it to hell and back. I am only making around $1-$2 a day from adsense, with a $75/month average. Hopefully I can get accepted to YPN, but thet keep rejecting me. I hear that they pay better for forum/community websites. Other than that, I am just normal 16 year old kid. I am hoping to go to college for computers, but I havent decided what is for me yet, or what a good school is. I am really into design work and video games, so maybe I wil head that way.
I can see that we are a bunch of people who actually want to do the same. My friends an I want to start an online business but we're waiting for the end of the semester so it's calm (no more homework). I had a company which I called excitris(dot)com which is mainly about web design, site programmation and such. It's dead for the moment since I had the code lying around for a big while until I bought my own web server on which I started to host my old stuff again which I am currently revamping. I currently own the domain name but it's actually a blog for now, until my friends and I start getting enough job to put it back online for future clients. I think we're doing a really great job, it's just sad we can't find clients who'd pay us a good amount of money for the work we do.
